The SealCath’s catheter also known as the Cephus Catheter is unique and its utility patent has been applied for. Its design consists of two balloons that will prevent leakage of air or fluids from around the catheter during an air or barium enema reduction procedure for the treatment of intussusception. It fills the gap that is presently needed to improve the delivery of medical care of pediatric patients.
This catheter has other applications which includes barium enema and virtual colonoscopy!
