What our clients say
“These catheters are amazing! The double balloon system on the catheter really helps keep everything secure and in the correct sport so that you get the best study as possible. The flexibility of the catheter is even better especially for patient comfort. I highly recommend these catheters!”
“Amazing catheters!!! There has been a great need in the healthcare industry for catheters like these! I’m so glad they are finally available! Unlike the catheters that have been used in the past, these create a seal on both the inside and outside of the patient, so you are less likely to lose any contrast! There are different sizes available for pediatrics and adults! Do your patient’s a favor and USE THESE CATHETERS!!”
“Love this catheter!! The seal from both internally and externally is unlike any other. This is your ideal catheter and you won’t be disappointed! Great quality product!”
“I use the Cephus Catheter primarily for colostomy studies. In days past, there were devices that adhere to the skin around the stoma, but the Cephus Catheter eliminates the need for additional products because of the brilliant double balloon design; it seals properly to avoid leakage. It is easier for the patient, for the staff and eliminates obscuration of anatomy by leaked contrast material. It’s a game changer in our field!”
As a CT technologist at a Level 1 trauma center for adult and peds, I have been using the Cephus catheter exclusively since its inception. Proud to be a supporter of this company. If you haven’t tried this for you rectal contrast patients, contact Dr. Simmons, and I promise you will never go back to stiff single balloon catheter tips again.
“This double balloon colorectal catheter is one of the most innovative and remarkable products for use in colorectal studies. I have used this in rectal contrast CT cases for pediatrics and adults. In addition to the ease of insertion, the ability of this catheter to retain the contrast without leaking far exceeds urinary catheters with single balloon or traditional colorectal tips and using a roll of tape and hoping for the best. You can’t go wrong by getting involved with using the Cephus Catheter for your patients!”
“The seal created by the Cephus Catheter is superior to traditional Foley Catheters for air enema reduction of ileocolic intussusceptions. I had a 9 month old patient present with intussusception. Unfortunately, a Cephus Catheter was not available and a Foley Catheter was utilized. A significant volume of air leaked around the catheter resulting in only a partial reduction. Two weeks later another patient around the same age presented for an air enema reduction and a Cephus Catheter was used. The seal was far superior with minimal air leak and the fastest reduction I can recall in my 8 year career. It was a night and day difference from my previous patient.”
“The Cephus Catheter has really improved our exam quality, as well as patient comfort during the procedures. It’s definitely user friendly, and overall results in a more positive experience during exams requiring colorectal catheter use.“
“As an abdominal radiologist, I’ve used the SealCath double balloon colorectal catheter for colorectal contrast administration and have found it to be an outstanding product. Its design ensures reliable and efficient contrast delivery, minimizes patient discomfort, and improves diagnostic accuracy. I highly recommend it.”
“The Cephus Catheter is a Game Changer”
“I use the Cephus Catheter for all of our pediatric intussusception reductions now and have had great success with our reductions. The catheter is easy to use and creates an easy and effective seal, without the need for tape. I highly recommend it.”
“Overall, the Cephus Catheter represents a significant advancement in the care of children with special needs, offering a reliable, effective solution for contrast enema procedures. I highly recommend it to any facility seeking to improve their diagnostic capabilities and patient care in this specialized area.”
“The design not only enhances the imaging quality but also minimizes the stress and discomfort for the patient. The Cephus Catheter has streamlined the procedure, reducing the need for repeated attempts and making the experience more comfortable and efficient for both the patient and the healthcare team.”
“The Cephus Catheter is especially beneficial when imaging children or larger teens with neurogenic bowel conditions. Traditional catheters often struggle to maintain a proper seal, leading to leakage of contrast material onto the table or floor, which can be both inconvenient and distressing for patients and staff. The Cephus Catheter dual balloon system ensures a secure seal, effectively containing the contrast within the rectum and providing clear, accurate imaging results. ”
“A Revolutionary Contrast Enema Catheter for Children with Special Needs. As a healthcare professional working with children and teens with special needs, particularly those managing fecal incontinence, I have found the Cephus Catheter to be an invaluable tool. This innovative catheter, with its unique double balloon design for internal and external sealing, has significantly improved the process of contrast enemas.”
